UAE Visit visa holders likely be given “Work Permit”
According to current laws, it is illegal to work in the UAE on a visit visa.

A top UAE official has highlighted the benefits of allowing visit visa holders to work legally in the UAE.
A work permit and other legal requirements may be established to allow employers to legally hire visitors in the United Arab Emirates.
According to current laws, it is illegal to work in the UAE on a visit visa. Companies that hire visitors face heavy fines. Companies in the UAE are required to obtain work permits and residency visas for visitors.
Dr Ali Humaid bin Khatem, advocate-general, head of Naturalisation and Residency Prosecution, said that allowing companies to legally hire visitors would help build mutually beneficial relationships.
“Companies need a head start and we have a lot of tourists in our country looking for jobs. This way both sides can benefit.”
He made the suggestion earlier this week at the Entrepreneurship Makers Forum organized by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai in Al Khawaneej.
