UAE schools to remain closed on Thursday and Friday
The government has said that safety and security of all people in the emirate must be ensured.
In view of the disaster caused by the rains, the United Arab Emirates has announced that the schools will remain closed on Thursday and Friday.
Schools and colleges have been directed by the Emirati government to organize remote learning, the roads around the educational institutions are to be fully restored.

Dubai Tram service and Metro service have been fully restored, however a few Dubai Metro stations are still closed but bus service is being provided.
The Emirati government advises the public to use the metro service to travel within Dubai. Similarly, several highways in Dubai have been reopened while alternative travel routes have been provided.
The UAE government has said that passengers should travel with information from the Road and Transport Authority’s website, unnecessary travel should still be avoided.
