Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan to appear in Vettaiyan

Bollywood superstar Rajinikanth talks about the days in Amitabh Bachchan’s life when the entire Bollywood was laughing at him.

Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are coming together after 33 years for the film Vettaiyan. This film will be released on October 10 and the moviegoers are eagerly waiting for it.

According to the details, 3 decades after the release of the film Hum in 1991, the two star actors will be seen together on screen. Through Vettaivan, while Amittabh Bachchan is making his debut in the Telugu industry, this is Rajinikanth’s 170th film.

Addressing the audio launch event of the film, 73-year-old Rajinikanth spoke emotionally for 82-year-old Amitabh Bachchan.

The 73-year-old star actor Rajinikanth said that when Amitabh started making films, he suffered a lot of financial loss. He did not even have money to pay the janitor’s salary, his house was auctioned, the entire Bollywood was laughing at him. The world just waits for your downfall.

He said that the legendary actor Amitabh stabilized himself financially in just 3 years, bought 3 houses in the same street of Juhu. This is an impressive feat, even at the age of 82, he works 10 hours a day.

Rajinikanth mentioned Amitabh Bachchan’s father during his conversation and said that his father was a great writer. He could do anything with his influence but he made a career on his own.

The star actor added that once there was a terrible accident of Amitabh Bachchan. Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was abroad, when she came to know about the accident, she immediately returned home. This was the time when Rajiv Gandhi and Amitabh used to study together.
